John Cooper JR



John has his B.S. from Sac State in Real Estate and Land Use Affairs. He started in the real estate venture in 2006 and has successfully learned to navigate through tough deals and negotiate on behalf of his clients to ensure they are always receiving the best deal with the best service. He has specialized in probate/estate sales, short sales, residential and land sales and as a team with John Sr has an average of 102% list to price sale and closes over 40 deals per year on average. John Jr is also a co-owner of a family run farm and loves working with the trackers and land. He is an outdoorsman and also a volunteer firefighter for his local fire department.

In 2004 John Sr. decided to make a change to a fun yet challenging new career. Starting off as an appraiser John was able to learn in details the “going ons” of real estate and how to truly find the value of a home. In 2006 he and son John Jr. started the Cooper Realty Team and haven’t looked back since. In the past 12 years, John Sr. has become an expert in all facets of real estate, including probate, residential and rural land. John Sr is an avid fisherman and loves taking time with his wife to visit new places. With a background in machine work he also enjoys working on projects around the house in his downtime.


Margo Cooper

As the newest member of the team, Margo has proved proficient in orchestrating real estate sales transactions for re-sale and short sale properties. Marketing, database management, and client management are also her specialties. Margo worked for the department of real estate for 10+ years and it gives her the edge needed to really make the deals work for her clients. She loves to fish with her husband, spend quality time with her family and travel to new places.
